Here are a few pieces I've been working on lately. All the photos have an odd hue, just more problems with photography :).

These are probably the last photos I'll post here. I'll continue to update my site.

Matt you have been very busy. All excellent pieces of work.If I had to pick one it would be the sapling cutter.I'm really fond of the wide blade.:)

Matt,
All beaut's  and second Danbo's walnut comment, really like the buckeye burl on the Fighter as well.
 to see you working with sheephorn.

Doug :)

I love 'em all, particularly the bowies. But I gotta say that little sheephorn number is particularly sweet. You should be careful posting pics like that - you could end up making more "little" knives due to intense customer pressure. ;)

Roger

PS - Walnut is as good as it gets in wood, IMHO.

You've been busy! didn't realize you had gone full time... ;)

And, while it goes without saying, I'll say it anyway - beautiful work, slick execution, love that bowie!

Matt,

As always, clean lines, materials, shapes and execution. Not surprising anymore!

I'm curious about your ideas and inspirations for your unique handle teatment for the palm. Less is more? Is there enough 'purchase'? Even moreso? I'll allow you to explain. Very eyecatching.

Coop

Coop, the photos are misleading. The handle flairs out at the butt. I reverse taper the handle; the butt is wider than the guard. The recess is designed to accept the heel of the hand. It works very well for me. I'll post photos on my site of the handle profiles.

You're really rock'n it Matt. I love your work, and it just keeps getting better. I think you have some of the best looking profiles going.

Love 'em buddy.

Keep it up!!! :D

Really beautiful all the way around !

I have one ? - do you use Pins or bolts ever, or do you just epoxy the handle on?

I like the handles - shapes go nicely with the wood grain.
