I am offering some exceptional walrus ivory today that was sent to me by my friend on St Lawrence Island. The first piece is a complete female tusk. It has a nice camel/tan color. Its total length measured on the outside curve is 15 3/4 inches. It is 1 5/8 wide at the base. I am asking $400 for this tusk.
shipping with insurance to anywhere in the US will be $10. I prefer money order. Thank you for looking.

Chuck

These are the best pieces out of 40 pounds that I got recently. I will be listing smaller sections and material for scales soon .
When you consider that these animals were harvested by Siberian Yupik hunters in skin boats from hundreds to thousands of years and the amount of digging in the last twenty years it is amazing there is any left.
