1. Jim Burke Runt Auto Prototype - near mint - $650
One of the best designed small knives I've had
There were very few automatic Runts made and this is a prototype, I've only seen 1 other
Only has 2.25" of cutting edge but feels like a much more substantial knife with the way it likes to be held in hand
Stonewashed blade with a satin main grind
The anodizing work is top notch, frame is tumbled blurple with a dot pattern that fades from blue to gold
Blue backspacer with satin highs
Fits very well in hand
Opens 100% reliably
Locks up securely if you make sure the button-lock fully engages
Centering is dead on
2. W.R. Bladeworks Drake - near mint - $1700
Perfect example of why Walter Randolph is considered one of the best
Fit and finish is absolutely perfect
Acidwashed S35VN blade
Polished and contoured lightning strike carbon fiber scales, can't feel any wires poking out
Acidwashed liners and clip
Copper backspacer
There are some finish wear on the clip and on the flipper
Has a stiff detent so it flies open with a nice snap
Runs smooth on IKBS, lockup is tight, and centering is dead on
3. Frank Fischer Custom - near mint - $1000
Very well put together 3.5" folder and was Frank Fischer's first folder
Fit between the liners and the backspacer is about as perfect as it gets, 100% seamless
Recurve blade with a perfect hand satin
Polished carbon fiber scales
Carbon fiber inlay on both sides of the thumbstud
3D milled clip and jeweled liners
Has been carried so expect some light scratches on the clip and liners
There is a slight bit of blade play but the knife is safe
Smooth action and perfect centering
