I found this old hatchet laying around my basement. Handle was shot and head was a thick layer of rust. After some cleaning it revealed itself as a Walters Midget. My first attempt at any type of restoration just got very interesting. It's still in rough shape but that's fine with me. A little filing and a polish on the bit, should be the perfect topper for a shepherds axe. Any tips will be appreciated, I'll post updates as the project comes along.
