Just received four knives from Bill. So speedy they seem to have arrived before my email even got to him.
He refunded extra money that I sent him, despite my protestation. I sent him extra because I failed to clarify knife price, and just asked for total with shipping costs. Before I had paid, he responded with a lower total. He had thought the listed price for one knife on his website was higher; he then saw the lower price.
I thought it was fair to split the difference in his expectation--heck, it was just twelve bucks more for me--so I included that extra on paypal. Still a fair price for me, but Bill insisted on refunding the extra. I wouldn't have resented him for keeping it, so I guess I shouldn't give extra praise for returning it, but somehow I find it refreshing to see. Let's just say it fortifies his credibilty. And I hope he's not annoyed with me mentioning it here.
