Thanks man, I sure am glad too. The winter was interesting to say the least, but I am glad for the break from it. Odd still having frosts two months into spring though lol.

Hahahaha, I miss watching those little guys! Do not miss the scorching heat and ants quite as much though :)

Another great 'Walk-along', Mist!

Thanks again!

Thanks Ed, glad you enjoyed the walk! :)

Thanks for sharing these great pics mist!
I've heard so much about morels on the forums lately and I would love to try them, but I'm not sure if they grow anywhere near here. I've never seen any.

The shrooms look delicious! Great pictures as always, thanks for sharing. Did you find any ticks on you afterward? They are out in full force up here.

The ticks are out in full force down here in GA too. I have found 5 crawling on me in the past month or two!

Mist, Thanks for the good reading!!! I think morels were a mostly gone a few weeks ago in Virginia. It has been cool this week, I might head out to find a few. Yours look fantastic!!! I had not used a Woodsman in a month or two, this thread made me break mine out.... cooked dinner with it and took it striper fishing (even though I didn't catch any). The Woodsman is a WONDERFUL profile! Good to see you back on the forum!!!!!

Thanks for sharing Mist. I really like the blend of close up and wide shots, providing various aspects of your adventure. Makes one feel very close to being there.

Beautiful photos! I really enjoyed seeing your neck of the woods (and nice knife as well).

I tried to reply here the other day, but BF was having issues at the time...

Thank you Jarrett, I'm glad you enjoyed them man!

It was my first time harvesting and cooking them, will definitely be looking for more next year :) Never saw them in the south when I lived there, and I did a lot of looking for them. I have yet to see the first tick here.
