IT`S a BOMBATIC:D

For those who don't have KZ yet, grab one. It is stunning. Photograths don't do KZ justice.

I once saw it on some documentary that Nepal Khukuri makers would search through junkyard metal for blade material. Porbably I am heavily polluted (spoiled?) by modern civilization and too blind to see any essence out of this kind of practice for is beyond my imagination how you can have quality control or performance predictability under such circumstances.

Like resinguy said, the Germans already did, or the Brits or the Japanese. I understand there were a few Land Rover Springs and Landcruiser springs that got used occasionally.

German, Brits, or Japanese cars scrap metal should be OK, but Nepal's neighbors India and China also make cars. I believe India cars are the cheapest around the world. Can you expect good quality scrap metal from that kind of cars?

Have a poke around the HI website somewhere they explain now they source their material.

From memory they prefer to source specific makes of leaf spring.
I think its mercedes and volvo or saab, bus and ruck springs, but anyway whatever it is they apparently try and get them from the same manufacturer.
