Want a Good Frame Lock

+1 on the Kershaw Nakamura!

I was just playing with mine an hour ago and its a beautiful, well made knife. The VG-10 is super sharp still from the factory and it locks up great. Even though it's a liner-lock, it's pretty thick for a gent's knife and I trust it just as much as my frame locks.

Not my picture, but it works!

JN - I will take some pics soon and put them in the Kershaw sub...I call the Nakamura the "tactical knife in a tuxedo"...sharp looker, sharper blade, and its nice and beefy (nice blade thickness, strong build) for being squat and mid-sized. Not at all what I would typically like in a knife, but its a winner.

I got one at our local place for $100, but it was the last he had, and they are discontinued, so I dont know if Kendal can get us more or not...worth asking...

Seen some on "that big auction site" for around the century mark. I can get you one if you need me to use my high fangled technology :)

MSRP is much higher. It's worth it.

The Kershaw OD1 and OD2 should be out in around a month. I think its worth the wait.

Nah, that's alright. I think I'm gonna pick up a Groove and a JYDI. I'll be there around 11am tomorrow; the little one will be with me if you wanna join us.

Unfortunately I have to work :(

No rest for the wicked.

The Camillus EDC is a nice 3" framelock. Obviously not available from Camillus, but they're around.

I agree with the previous recommendations of the Spyderco Volpe. It's truly very well made by Fox in Italy (Volpe mans fox in italian, I believe :-) ) and one of the most dressed-up looking spydercos. A perfect framelock as well. And you can still find it below $100 from a number of ebay dealers. It's discontinued, and I believe it will one day become a collector's item.
The olive wood inlays even SMELL nice !
