want diff scales for my rc4 anyone??

So my dad bought him self a orange rc4 thinking that rat sells diff colored scales they dont so does anyone on here make replacement handles for them?? Thanks :D
 
What's wrong with orange?

If you really don't like the Orange (or Dad doesn't like the Orange), you could always try making a set of slabs yourself. Why not? Micarta is easy to shape. Or you could use a nice piece of wood. Or Corian--that could be cool.

Damn, now you have me thinking....

 
idk he got it for me then i slipped up and was like cool another Rat.... so now he is keeping it for him self after he found my stash of RATS haha. he is not to fond of orange idk why i sure am :D. Yeah i might but get some wood and mess around with it. Hmmm i do have a few sheets of CF to bad its dangerous to work with. :(
 
Maybe you should put an ad up here on the for trade section.
I bet someone would trade you there regular scales for those orange ones
 
Here's a link to a guy who does great work. I had him re-handle my Fallkniven A2 and it turned out just right. His site is pretty new and doesn't have many pics up but I'm sure if you ask him he can send you some others. My cost was very reasonable too. I would trade scales with you also, but I think there might be a problem if ever you were to return it to RC for warranty reasons. I think you would have to return the knife in its original configuration for replacement, you might want to ask first. I remember a knife on the exchange that was a RC 4 but not original config. and someone mentioned that there could be a problem with the warranty. I realize the importance of orange (bright colors) when I dropped my RC4 in leaves/brush, it took a few hours to find it, now I have a 8 inch orange, yellow & black braided lanyard attached which makes it quite visible. Hey, if you find someone who makes scales for the RC4, please post and let us know, I would like a second pair for my RC4. Thanks
