I have a Canadian Special and like it, but it's too big for EDC for me. I'm thinking about a Woodland Special or Bumblebee next, but would like some input on the decision. I need to find a very useful and unobtrusive belt knife, concealable is good.

I also have my eye on one or two Doziers since I've not had one of those either.

Thanks

For EDC, I like the Mini-Northstar or Pro Scalpel II. Both come with an excellent sheath, that fits tight to the body, or you could stick it in a pocket sheath.

I have a Woodland, but find it a little large to EDC, for me. I guess, I prefer a "thinner" knife, like the MNS, or PSII.

I don't have a Bumblebee, but it looks like a fine knife. Love the sheath too!

My first Barkie a few years back was a Mini Canadian, which I carry in a pocket sheath. I'm quite fond of this knife, but in retrospect I wish I had chosen something a little pointier and with less belly for an edc, pocket fixed blade. I've been looking at the Little Creek, Mini Tusk, and Pro Scalpel lately . . .

The BR lineup is rife with good little knives perfect for EDC. My favorite in that role is the IMP, but there are many others such as their small wharncliffe designs...

The Bumblee Bee would be an excellent choice as it was made specifically as an every day carry knife. The blade profile allows it to be effective for a variety of tasks & it is stout so you can lean on it all you want. Another thing is the Clovis sheath that comes with it allows for belt or pocket carry if you want it concealed.

Yeah I'm liking this one more every time I look at it. Pro scalpel and Imp aren't bad either. I've also noticed the Wharncliffe EDC...

Too many choices. Still can't seem to find my grail EDC fixed blade, at least for belt carry. My Carter neck knives are the best! I'm afraid I'm just going to have to get a belt knife from him
