wan't to buy a great first blade...which one?

I am looking to buy a great first blade for myself, for all purpose use around the house, camping, for fun etc.

Buy yourself a Victorinox Swiss Army Knife, specifically their Farmer model, although the Pioneer and the Soldier are both good, too. Since these have solid aluminum handles (called Alox) they are sturdier than the usual models with red plastic handles. I buy my Swiss Army Knives (always those made by Victorinox) from www.eknifeworks.com where I've received good service and the best prices I've seen for many years.
