Want to go into folders - tools?

Hey guys!


As I finally want go into folders, and I going out from my bunker to garage on surface, I need tools.

This will be leasing for now but this will allow me to go further with my knives :)
Aa I have now Surface grinder, Kiln in WIP stage, good drill, sandblasting cabinet to make, working on 900l/min air compressor, and 2-3 belt grinders in the way...

I need lathe and Milling machine.

That tools will be ok ?

I would contract the waterjet out to save $ and just do it in runs...

Kosa, I don't have any experience building folders but from all I've read and experienced in knife work sounds like you are spot on. I'm sure the experts will be by soon to help you out w/ the details =)
 
The photos look good, I can't read the polish

I'd take the first mill for more versatility, but the other would probably do fine
 
I would think a rotary table for the mill would be pretty helpful.

I imagine it'd be good to have a good amount of smaller precision files and magnification. Maybe a few of those magnifier lights and magnifying visors.
 
Rotary table will be obtained ;)


Fixed knives I already cutting out with waterjet.
Cutting all that small blades is overkill...

I also have a option to get Wabeco F1210 mill and Klippfeld K-10A lathe...
