Heat the severed part to red. Dip in Borax. Bring it back to yellow heat and check with a coathanger. Reattach with firm overlaping strikes. The way you all talk you never heard of forge reattachment.

PS..Do finish the knife first. :D
 
Jerry, try doing a show with one eye bandaged! I felt like just putting up a sign that said "Don't Ask!".
