Want to know more about Knife Market

Hello, i just get into it recently and Bought a Tactical knives magazine. It says "January 2006"

Well, this magazine pretty much sits on the shelf all the time without changing. How often does those magazine run?? by now i am sure it is not a monthly issued. When should I be expecting a new edition?

As major manifacture such as: Benchmade, Spyderco, Do they change their product yearly like cars & ski gears? When consumer are expect to see new products coming?

I have noticed that Spyderco come out their new product pretty often. I always see something new from them. new edition of mini manix, adventura...etc. As for Benchmade, they don't run their company as Spyderco does. Which made me wonder.

I am just a consumer who can't wait to see what else they can do with design!! Yet, they always suprise me by their talent.:thumbup:

Tactical Knives is published every 2 months. Magazines are always a month or two on their months. I really like the format of the magazine and buy it every time it comes out but I've heard people dont have much luck with subscriptions.

Tactical Knives is a quarterly publication, I believe. It's a decent magazine, but not my thing usually; it's a little too mall-ninjaish for me and it suffers from time to time in the editing department.

In my opinion, there are better monthly publications out there. Blade and Knife World are the best, I think.

Yes and no. New knives come out all along, but most of the production line consists of knives that are prooven sellers and performers.
