My Ebony inlay small sebenza has arrived at my usps facility im working at right now. Not allowed to pick it up while its here because procedure and laws. Gotta wait for Tuesday delivery. This truely sucks lol. Its sooo close!

Just get it out of the box now, and the box can still be delivered on Tuesday... :D Problem solved! ;)

I gotta find the box first which is like a needle in a hay stack. We are the distribution facility in colorado.

Probably. Mail that comes through colorado comes to us first for sorting then gets shipped to the stations.

I feel your pain. I have two that are sitting about 6 minutes away in the next town over (they are the "hub" for several of our small towns around here), that I can't have until Tuesday either.

I liked the "take it out of the box and let the box be delivered on Tuesday" idea. Haha!

Maybe if you weren't playing on your phone you and everyone else could get there stuff a day early :D

I was on break so ha! And we are ahead of schedule. Being a holiday weekend means nothing for us only the carriers :(

Yep. The work goes moves forward. I have noticed that FedEx trucks don't run on the major holidays (transport). The delivery folks adhere to the things like Sundays and so forth. Only USPS adheres to the holidays and that is at the delivery end of things only. Competition. If you understand how things work, you often can save a little money using USPS vs FedEx and UPS.

My advice..... order something else to focus your attention elsewhere and wait for normal delivery. :D I would imagine there are company procedures in place to keep employees from opening packages there if you know what I mean.

True frustration was re-profiling and sharpening a gift knife (PM2) for my best bud, and then not being able to get a really sharp edge. It was stupidity at its highest degree. I believe I have learned things since then...thank goodness.

Aren't you allowed, as the recipient, to change the delivery address to, say, your work address and request a redirect? That's what a relative of mine who drives for UPS has done.
