Northwoods Quasimodo

Or Chaney (after the actor who played Quasimodo in the 1923 film)
Or Hugo (after the author of The Hunchback of Notre Dame)

Nice! I was going to say Quasimodo, but then I figured it wouldn't be proper to imply that the #31 is horrendous or hideous in any way. It does have the hump/hunch on its back side, and the small and large blade could be construed as a large and small eye perhaps, but that might be stretching it. It's still a very cool name for a knife...

Northwoods Legislator

Northwoods Quill Keeper

Northwoods Patriot

Great looking knife. Be waiting for this one.

You know I can't let this opportunity pass by ;)

I was doing some research on the history of whaling along the Oregon coast for a unit on Oregon history that I am planning and I came across the image below from an 1856 edition of Harper's Monthly. The Image is of some Coos indians butchering a Humpback Whale that washed up on shore.

So, I was thinking that the "COOS BAY WHITTLER" could be a good name. It pays respect to the pattern, as well as Oregon's history.

Good luck everyone!
