Here is my REKAT Carnivore, post-modification. There are a lot more pics on my webpage. Look for the link that says "Carnivore Project" in the navigation bar.

I'm not quite sure what I think of the clip. Anyone? Let me know what you think of it!

Pretty nice work Steve! Watch out or you'll be in yet another side business, ala Frank Recupero or Corduroy!
Filework really classes up a knife doesn't it! I wish my Sifu looked like that, but I spend most of my weekends on the bikes and by the time I get home, I'm in recovery mode only! No way I'll end up spending the time needed to do such a nice job myself. Maybe when my finances are back in full stride I'll be able to have Mr. Recupero do some upgrading for me!
Anyway, nice work.

Looks great. I kinda like the clip. I've done some work on my pioneer, 30 lpi thumb serrations, checkered the thumb stud at 40 lpi. That works great. May file work the liners. How many hours do you have in this one?

I did all the liner stuff one day and the clip the next. It probably took 1.5-2hrs on the liners and maybe 30-45 minutes for the clip. Hardest part about the clip was finding a place to clamp it as I worked!

Wow, gee if your work was considered "middle of the road" by B.Brothers, then I'd love to see what "top drawer stuff" looks like. Seriously, maybe you should re-open your side business and sell your "middle of the road" services to members of this forum.

Paranoid, I don't understand your comment...who is B.Brothers? I didn't see any comments on my work by him! Maybe I'll see if I can get yet another thread closed!

Lemme know. Anyway, thanks for the encouragement!

Chiro-
Bob Brothers is The Man at REKAT. To the best of my knowledge, he and Bob Taylor run the show.

Chiro......Wow....That looks pretty cool, and no, that clip is fine. Really enjoyed your site - was there about 1/2 hour. Shot the curl to the MadPoet site and read The Legacy. Picked it up and couldn't put it down ! Nya looks like a real stinker too !
