Want to upgrade from Basic to Gold

I notice a couple threads from people asking for pro-rated somthing or another.

What is the easiest way to upgrade? I have only been a basic member for a couple weeks.

Just purchase the new membership and the time remaining on your current membership will be pro-rated onto the new one.

(You have to request that Spark pro-rates it here in this forum, it is not an automatic function.)
