I have a Benchmade LE 'Forum' Rift with CF handles and a M4 blade. It is my favorite knife design and I have been carrying one version or another since they came out, about 6 or 7 years I believe.

While the blade holds a decent edge it is still a production knife and I would like to have a new blade made in a newer 'super steel' with a good heat treat. I am open to what steel it uses if someone has experience heat treating a certain alloy and wants to take on the project. But something along the lines of S110V, M390, CTS-20CP, etc but with a great heat treat. It will be more of a slicer but I don't want it to chip out from cutting cardboard or break in half if I drop it.

I know most makers probably want to make their own design but I'm willing to pay an appropriate amount for your work. If anyone is interested in the project please email me and we can work out the details. I would imagine it would be fairly easy to put the radius on the tang to work with the AXIS lock and wouldn't require much fitting like with a frame lock. Probably a quick project for someone with the tools and skills to grind a blade.

Thanks!
