Hi blade forum craftsmen! I'm looking to commission a custom leather sheath for a handmade knife. I am interested in a horizontal draw (scout) belt sheath (similar to those created by Hedgehog Leatherworks or Sagewood Gear). I would like either ambidextrous or left-handed draw option(s).
Below are the specific measurements, and several images of the knife. Please let me know if there is any additional information I can provide. Thank you!
Specifications:
1084 vanadium steel
Micarta scales
Blade thickness: 0.125
Blade width: 1.2
Blade length: 6"
Cutting edge: 5.25
Overall length: 11.25"
Width at thinnest point of grip: 1"
Width at thickest point on grip: 1.25"
Depth at thinnest point of grip: 0.625
Depth at thickest point of grip: 1
Blade guard: 2 wide, 0.75 deep
