Wanted: knifemaker skills for a project
I have a job for an experienced knife maker that I cant do myself due to a lack of time, experience, and materials. I want to send you a brand new BK2 knife and micarta scale set straight from the distributor. You remove the stock Grivory scales, strip the entire BK2 with paint stripper down to bare metal (including tang and holes), permanently affix the new scales, sand them down to flush with tang (there may be a gap due to paint removal), and finally polish and buff the blade and handle (not mirror glass, but blade finish should be uniform satin and handle should be very smooth). No need to sharpen as I like to do that.
