Wanted: Fixed blade knife rehandling service

Hello,

I have a few Bark River fixed blade knives and I would like to have the factory scales removed and replaced with new scales fashioned from wood that I already have selected (Ringed Gidgee, stabilized Koa, stabilized Curly Maple). I would like to have mosiac pins installed as well - I haven't picked those out and am not too particular but would like to have input on the choice of pins.

Are you emotionally attached to those knives for a significant reason?
if not, imo.... Id take that amazing wood and have, and have a custom knife maker use that in your build.....

Otherwise, rehandling the knives you have, might cost as much as the knives already cost.

I'm slow to build, but people like David Mary will build you something super great!!!

Thanks, Crag. I try not to get emotionally attached to anything inanimate but these knives are part of a larger set and I like them quite a lot, so it seems to be worth the investment.
