Wanted - someone to make a knife for me

Hi all

I have a design for a small spear point bowie I want made - around 4" blade and 8" or less overall with a small oval guard and ivory mastodon handle with hidden pins and a full tang. I have the ivory and a mock-up of the design I want but not the tools (or skill) to work with steel. Single edge with an unsharpened false edge on the top - nickel silver guard - would prefer some type of carbon steel - I have a girl who is going to scrim the handle for me so I want it polished. Other than that I don't care all that much - forged or stock removal - satin finished blade or polished - carbon steel or damascus.

Any knifemakers out there who I can send my ivory, my mock-up, and my money to who wants to make this for me?

Many of us here could do this for you. From either carbon steel or damascus. If damascus what pattern that would raise the cost some. I myself would be glad to do such a knife. I am not the very best here, But, very capable. I do my own heat treat in an digital oven. Take your pick of the makers. Jim

You both do fantastic work - I am probably looking for something a little plainer than your pictures as the thumbnail photo and the knives on your site (respectively) are really amazing.
