Wanted to ask Hinderer experts

Just wanna jump in here. I don't hang in the Hinderer Sub Forum all the time, but I visit pretty regularly. To the Op: when you buy a knife here on BF from someone with almost 1300 posts, and 36 100% positive feedbacks, you can be darn sure your buying the real thing. I so understand your concern. I know these knives are spendy, and the risk of buying a fake certainly exists, but please remember, this community is based on trust, and a mutual love and respect of a knife. If a person was selling fakes, he may get one, maybe two sold before he was ousted, and banned. I would buy from DPrichard, and I have had about 6 different XM's pass through my hands.

I guess what I'm saying is the folks that are here regularly, especially someone with 36 positive feed backs....No worries. :)

Thanks for the +1 man! :)

I received 3 more Hinderers. Compared them all, and this is what I found out. The ones with smaller hinderer lettering are softer opening and must be earlier production. The ones with fatter letter are crispier and better flippers :)). Yours Dave was of earlier production, the same type as I got from the armory and work the same.

Dealer I got it from was out of stock a few weeks earlier. He gets em in pretty regularly. Not sure if it's an earlier production versus newer production thing or just subtle difference from one knife to the next.

I have a couple but am always dancing like a 9 year old that has to pee waiting for More! :)

Haha! Need more Hinderers!! And the dancing pee pee Hinderer dance is the dance!! Oh wait I'm doing now... ;)

My mailman used to "Deliver" my precious arrivals, Now He speeds up and throws the box out the window, troubling...

I dunno, some people just don't "get it" ;)

I can't blame him, it all started that Fall day when I was standing out front by the mailbox. Had a sandwich, glass of milk and one of those oversized barber shop/hypnotist lollypops. I might have been wearing a propeller bini cap too (just to make sure motion would catch his attention) wife beater tee-shirt and maybe forgot the pants (I don't remember) anyway....
He drove by me at speed and when I came running down the road full bore as fast as you can considering the milk and eating a sandwich
yelling, "Where's my package, Where's my Package!!" I think he made some calls (according to reports) and that was it - No Delivery that day.
Now that I think about it, I do remember forgetting pants that day which may have lent to the disturbing nature of my repeated question
("Where's my package") Oh well, semantics I say...
So, i get the excitement of an "InBound" I just suggest proper attire and a civil attitude will expedite the end result.
The end.

Rubi!!! You had me shooting milk out my nose on that one!!

Thanks for that Rubi. Could always use a good laugh!! :D

Nah ! Not a problem unless I get 21 Hinderers like CRKs lol. Just starting my hinderer run! Also will clear out the inventory for sale :))

The funny thing money alone does not come into play when buying Hinderers. A lot of luck and patience are virtues that must be respected and understood.

Good luck on your journey.
