I am working on a blanket chest, and have some beautiful 12" wide wild cherry planks. I'm planning to inlay a tree into one end of the chest, and would like to use patterned steel for the inlay.
I'd be happy to purchase scraps of damascus or mokume; I don't need big pieces. I prefer pieces that aren't heat-treated, though I guess I can anneal stuff.
Patterns don't need to match
I'll pay for the material and postage, or trade you bookmatched scales in a variety of woods.
Thanks .
