Wanted to buy Specific Knife after seeing it on a movie or T.V.

Kellster, the guy who made the knife you're talking about is Jack Crain. Bad thing is, if you do a search on his name in this forum you will find that he ripped off quite a few people not delivering knives ordered. He was a great knifemaker at one time but I think the movie success went to his head.
Also, while I definitely agree with the 2 posters that Dan Winkler makes great knives, he was not the primary knifemaker for "Last of the Mohicans". He made 1 knife and that one was reworked by the propmaster Mr. Morgan. Most of the other knives in the movie were made by Randall King.

BTW, there was a boxing movie a few years ago called "Gladiators" with Cuba Gooding and Brian Dennehy. One of the bad guys used a Spyderco Mariner. Was the first time I saw one flicked open by holding onto the hole. It was cool.

2 knives i have wanted ever since seeing them. the S shaped shakarin in blade and the crysknife of dune. MY alltime wish for a blade type weapon, the lightsaber of course, followed by a molecular edged blade.

Anyone ever see The Client? I think it is a movie that came from a novel. Well anyways, the main enemy/mob boss has this kick ass Spyderco Police Stainless Steel model. You can get a really good look at it when he uses it to eat a cherry. It has some really cool engravings on it. (I think it is a Police model but please correct me if I'm wrong)

I bought a Cold Steel tanto quite some time ago after seeing "Black Rain". There's a long kill/chase/fight scene near the start of the movie involving a 7.5 inch Master Tanto.

I just watched Stigmata today...does anyone know what kind of knife Father Anthony uses? It reminded my of one of Gene Osborn's (Center Cross)knives. That would be kinda fitting for the character I suppose.

I don't know if the english titel is correct, "forgotten hero's" made me buy a Ka-bar. And still wanting a Randall #1, but I can't decide the configuration.
Of course I love those survival-knives by Lile.
