Wanted: tough EDC fixed blade

I am looking for a small-medium sized fixed blade, no longer than 7" total. I want it to be made out of a steel than can take abuse, and still be used for everyday cutting/slicing (my thoughts were CPM 3V). I'm pretty open to ideas and suggestions. My budget is around $150.
