Nice. A J bass is on my list for sure. I always have my eye out for something from the 70's preferably fretless. It's one of those things that I never seem to have the money for when I find it. :o

You know the the 70's J basses really aren't that bad when it comes to price. The only thing I don't like about them is the 3 bolt neck. But they sure sound good! Mine is a 62, 100% original in Shell Pink. I know, laugh about the color but they're only 5 that were made that year. Mine is about an 8 in condition...

I can't see the picture. I think I know the color but I've definitely never seen it on a J bass.

You should be checking KSF... just listed both a Hunter and a Bushfinger...both which you apparently are looking for. I think the bushfinger might be your thing in greybeard burlap. Have a look!
