My Worksharp is decent, but just not where I want my sharpening to be, so I decided on paper wheels! Problem is that I need some money, and my knives are the best way to get that. I will be selling a few knives off that just don't get carried. Apologies in advance for no photos, Bladeforums decided I am no longer allowed to upload photos, and Photobucket well full stupid with their app and it doesn't work. Payment must be money orders, and prices include free continental shipping. International shipping can be discussed.
First off is my Benchmade Mini Grip blue. Sharpened on a Wicked Edge to about 17dps and is quite sharp. There is some play while closed, very little side play while open but it flicks open just fine, and has no vertical play. The clip is a standard BM black clip, not the split arrow clip, with very little wear on the paint. Blade has no discernible wear. It comes with the box. Price is $65 shipped.
Second is my HK Conspiracy. Stropped factory edge, it didn't need sharpening. There are two marks on the blade where it rubbed before I got the pivot sweet spot, and a few hardly noticeable scratches, but the knife is otherwise practically new. Lockup is dead solid, at around 25%, with zero play. Scale texture is great, providing excellent grip without obliterating your skin. This is a beast of a knife. It comes with the box. Price is $60 shipped.
Third is my Bobyk Icon. The blade had a little spotting, and it coated it with some Tuf-Glide and the rust is no longer an issue. The blade looks acid etched too, now. Coating seems to be holding quite well. Blade was sharpened to a hair popping edge, and the blade rockets open with little effort. Lockup is solid at about 40%. This knife is killer for the price, especially with a 154cm blade. No box. Price is $40 shipped.
Next up is my Kershaw Piston. The knife was barely used or carried, with a factory edge that was lazily started to he reprofiled by me but I gave up on it. The factory edge isn't dull, it just could be sharper. Torsion bar is still good, and lockup is solid at about 20% with no play. It comes with the box. Price is $40 shipped.
Last up is my Spyderco Calypso Brown Sprint. The last 1/3 of the blade broke off, and the blade was reshaped into a Sheepsfoot. What's left is still good, and some machining tools could take the excess off the handle to make a shorter knife. Blade is razor sharp, nonetheless, and the lock is solid with no play. No box. Price is starting at $40, but I will he highly negotiable and very open to most trades on this one.
I will say again, I am only taking money orders for this one. I can ship on the same day for members with high feedback, but members under 20 feedback or at my digression will have to wait until I get the money for me to ship. First "I take it" gets the sale, but emails are the best way to reach me as I don't usually stalk my threads and only check my PM a few times a day.
Trades will be considered, but likely refused. I need cash more, but the right knife could always change my mind.
