Recommendation? Wanting to buy a Spydiechef off eBay.

I saw that the Spyderco Spydiechef was sold out in a lot of popular online retailers but I saw that eBay has a few left in stock. What I was wondering is if this model has been cloned before? Should I be worried about getting ripped off? I’m new here so i would appreciate any advice.

Amazon has them in stock.

ebay will refund if you can show you received a knock off.
 
ebay and even amazon are honestly just not trustworthy... many threads here in the past talk about repeated problems

amazon seems to love mixing and matching any returned items from any seller with their own generalized 'amazon sold' stockpiles...
which means they've sold counterfeit items on a repeated basis for things like knives, designer bags, watches, etc etc etc
(basically anything that is counterfeited normally)

it's really a sad state of affairs imho
 
I was going to order one in the morning from one of those sites. Looks like I might want to do that now to make sure they don't run out.
 
God damnit they are sold at where I was going to get it. Shit I knew I should have got one earlier today. Ive been debating it for days and finally decided to get it
