Wanting to get a new cell phone

I have the new RAZR. Great phone and it is really thin. The camera works surprisingly well too!

I still have my StarTac; it was a great phone. Not sure if I can use it anymore due to the GPS requirement for E911.

I'm not a huge Motorola fan today; all of my digital Motorola's (except the Startac) were crap. T720, and my last, the v810, refused to charge the battery, and I would miss calls constantly. Motorola's charge plug sucks. Several friends have the Razr and like it a lot. I think it is too thin.

I'm now using an LG VX-6100, and it has been the best digital phone I've had, besides the StarTac.

Verizon has the LG VX-6100 available (at least here in my area) and I would recommend it highly.

Had several Motorolas (mobiles and flip phones) over the years, the last StarTac did not have a decent battery life. Switched to Nokia (stick phones) in 2000 and have been very pleased with battery life and durability. Menus are simple to negotiate. My wife has a Motorola pre-paid that she loves, but she doesn't use it often and the battery life is nothing short of terrible. I do have a Motorola satellite phone that works beautifully. I've used mostly Verizon since 1995, with a smattering of Suncom.

My wife and I aren't really happy withe the reception that our Samsung phones get. She had a Nokia that worked much better, with the same service provider.

I am personally sticking with Nokia phones. I will NEVER buy a Motorola phone ever again myself! My spouse hovever just got a Razr yesterday. So, we will see.
