Through the dense fog there is deep rumble and creeking steel....its is near... how close is it?

Is this just a collectors piece or are you guys actually planning on using it for something?

Seems like it would be pretty useless as far as practicality goes, interested to hear what everyone's plans are for it though.

It's going to be a bad ass chopper!

I got the BG version. I've chopped with a customized FBMLE with a wicked convex edge ( I regret letting that one go).

I'm betting this one chops even better!
It may kick my conveyed KZII out of its spot!

I got the custom shop War Train..she is gonna be a user for sure, no chopping brick or anything tho..I use a trailer or jeep camping so weight ain't a problem. I don't feel like the looks of a knife make it impractical, in fact I would argue the wide blade gives in an advantage. If the WTF is impractical it will be the weight.. in which case it's in good company...MOAB, MOABOLO, THAT SUPER THICK FFBM, ect.. I think of an impractical Busse being more like a.32 inch thick little knife..or the argonne assult..personally

Im gona put my CS WTF under the glass in a Custom Box, might even make little label on the glass "In Case of the and of the World Break Glass" lol
I will try to get a BG version off the Exchange for a User.

Good plan!! I considered that approach myself.

I considered that approach as well, but then I decided to order one of each from the start. I plan to make them both users though!

Does the custom shop operate separately from the standard shop? Are a different collection of people building CS knives as do the others? WTF was the first CS standard release knife..maybe they got done ahead of the standard shops next completions...??

The War Train Fusion, in my Opinion will not be "THE BEST" Chopper" It will be a very effective Chopper" and yes it will be very heavy and a handful-at 11 inches long, 3 inches wide and .340 thick! The Basic 13 will be a more Practical Knife! The WTF will be a beautiful, Big Chunk of Satin INFI, (or BG) If I wanted practical I would be driving a Prius and living in a solar powered House-Cheers

Maybe not the best, but my bet is that it's pretty hard to see a difference between the heavy hitter choppers. I think the biggest difference we will see is the thick blades will take a toll on the arm..

Agreed

I figured it's probably close enough. The War Train Fusion needed it's own countdown thread..let's just keep it somewhat active if we can.. like you said..it gives us WTF fans an outlet..
