Warcraft Tanto - First Impressions

I am want one myself, they are still unavailable on the CS website. I wish I new where to acquire one and not at the expensive CS website price.

interesting, but they say "American CPM-3v" and "American g-10"

Probably American materials and parts assembled in Taiwan.

Kind of like how people joke about some companies that say "MADE IN USA" have parts that are all from China, but the opposite.

In addition to being a sheath maker, I also sell knives at Gun & Knife Shows, Cold Steel in particular.

This looks really sweet, wouldnt mind one in a shorter blade length (might as well be the first to say it).

What's the coating like? Standard issue?

Warcraft: Assembled in Taiwan, but don't let that fool anyone. This knife is for brutal chopping. The steel and coating are excellent.

Buy them at Blade HQ, knifeworks, ebay, etc for very, very reasonable prices. $175 or similar is the price you should be seeing at such places. Buy one, chop and slice, enjoy, repeat. Go get one! :-)

I just got mine in the mail yesterday. Balance is half an inch from the finger choil because of the tapered tang design. Being an idiot, I dropped it while showing it to a buddy on my concrete landing. Scruff on the handle but the blade scuff wiped away thanks to the excellent and almost miraculous DLC coating. The sheath seems suitable for vertical carry and I plan to lash it on my upper left shoulder of my camping LBV. Fit and finish are all excellent. It has the Cold Steel feel. What I mean by that is the knife feels monolithic like an ergonomic pry bar. I feel like I could take down drywall and support studs if I used the back of this thing. I'm going to thump on this thing around March when I go camping for spring break. I saw a guy use a 3v Fehrman as a tree stand on YouTube. I'm sure this can do the same but I'll post pics then to show how the DLC coating holds up.

EDIT-Oops never mind.
Still would love to see more pics of this knife! Post them if you have them!
:)

I also have a Tanto Warkraft. It is very good for its purpose. Its handle it is a little bit to thin for big hands like mine.
