Warning: Buying ESEE knives off of Amazon.com

I recently purchased an ESEE-5 and received only a knife with the instruction paper explaining the sheath. I have contacted Amazon customer service. Be careful when buying off of amazon. Some of these vendors are charging full price for the knife, but excluding the sheath.
 
eCop Police Supply was the one that got me. I'm convinced there are more out there. I'm pretty upset about it. Now I have to spend another 30 bucks to get one from ESEE or spend over a hundred for a custom one.

I just want to make sure noone else runs into this same problem.
 
Apologies to the admins for posting this in general. I'm new here and I was trying to put it in ESEE and saw that it said to move ESEE discussion to general. I was unaware of the feedback thread.
 
That's weird I have some dealings with them and although one of my products was slightly blemished, they seem to be alright
 
Well they want me to return it, but I'd rather not. I have the knife, I can get a sheath. I got the knife to use it, so it would just be more time without.

Odd, seilu. Must not be coincidence.

I am still dealing with them. I'm hoping they will just send me the sheath. If not, oh well. I did want to make sure Amazon and other knife enthusiasts knew about it.
 
Sorry but it doesn't sound like as big a deal as you're making it. They're willing to refund you for their mistake but you don't want to send it back?
 
Warning: If you cannot read do not buy things off the internet.

Really, some of their stuff has sheaths and some do not. The ones with KO in the item # mean Knife Only. I says in the description.
This is the same with some vendors on Ebay too, nothing new.

There hasn't been an ESEE forum here for 2 years.
 
Really, it is a big deal. I had to pay shipping and I'll have to pay shipping to get it back. The amount of money I'll have paid in shipping would have bought me a new sheath. I know some of you do not understand the value of the dollar bill, however, I do. If I pay for something, I expect to get what I pay for in its entirety.

RUNIT, I do not need your condescending attitude. I can read. By the way it's:" If you cannot read, do not buy things off the internet." You missed some punctuation. It did not say KO and did, in fact show pictures and description with the sheath.

I'm over it. Yes, it's frustrating. The whole point of this wasn't to whine and moan, it was to inform everyone else of this.

If you're not here to say, "thank you" or "noted", then I don't see the point in you wasting time and effort trolling.
 
I was actually going to offer you my ESEE 5 sheath since I make my own (if you paid shipping) but after that last post you can cram it.

I looked in eCop's amazon store and none of the ESEE-5's they sell are pictured with sheaths. No ESEE knives with sheaths in the picture at all, actually...
