Some of you may remember that Alaskan Guide Jim Wagget had Bill make him a HB that he was going to carry this year in Alaska

Well the knife brought him good luck and it didn't hurt that Jim is an outstanding hunter,

He guided none other than Mark Sullivan famed videographer and big game hunter in Africa.

For years I have watched his videos like MBOGO and Black Death to name a few.

Needless to say here are 2 real expierenced boys and I would have loved to been around the camp fire with these two . The stories must be fantastic Cape Bufalo, Lion, Big bears and tales of Africa and Alaska. The expierence these 2 gentleman have is astounding

Here are a few photos from the many Jim was kind enough to have sent me

Mark did get one hell of a Bear congrats to both of them

i'm a hunter so these pics are great. however even nonhunters have to gasp at the wonderful nature pics . thanks dennis

Joe,

Not to sound crude, but Mark Sullivan must have balls of highly polished stainless steel. Met him at the Dalas Safari club show a few years ago. His videos were an amazing display of control under pressure.

BTW, I know a guy who could help you with that double rifle.....:-)

Mr.Bradshaw, I have guided Mr.Sullivan on 2hunts up in Alaska. He is a man that can talk the talk and he sure the hell can do the walk..Enjoy the pics.

JParanee,

I really enjoy your posts!

What did the skull measure on that bear?

Oh, yeah and what are the details on the rifle?:D

i love your Bagwell's in action threads Joe.

I notice most people are going with the stag handle HB more times than not. In your opinion Joe does this make for a better user handle for durability reasons or is it a good looks thing? I don't have any real experience using stag and maybe i need to get on Bill's waiting list for a stag of my own.

thanks brother

Hi Tim hopefully Jim will add some info about the Bear and Rifle . I know the rifle was built by Lon Paul and was chambered .375 H & H . Lon also made my .375many years ago.

Crossada I am a stag freak because it is very durable and only gets character with wear. Wood can always ding and crack. Bill will tell you an HB is better suited to a coffin handle and I might agree with him but for me stag is gods gift for a very durable practical and good looking knife handle and the majority of my bowie's wear it. If I am not mistaken I might have the first stag HB Bill ever did. If not the first one of the firsts
