Warning for user harlen.shaw (Scammer?)

Hello people, i just want to let you know, that the user harlen.shaw, sadly apere to be a scammer, i made a thread 04-26-2013 looking for someone that
could make me a chopper in CPM 3V steel, two days later he write to me and tell me hes the guy, after some mail contact we find out what i want and what it would cost and so on,
Time move on and 24 Jun 2013 he tell me its ready, and want paid, shipping and knife a total of 600$.

I send him the money and then he stop ansver and i still havent got a knife or any kind of response, also he have sent me "progress" pictures all the time, that look autentic,

Apperently i waited to long (since i dident want to go scream wolf falsly) to report it to paypal so i wont see my money again, but atleast i want to warn others.

If something have happend to him, let me know and obviously i take this back, but as it stands now, i can't think anything else then that i got playd :(

I don't know if he is or ir not a scammer. What I can see is that he has not been on the forums since July 22 of this year. These situations are hard to judge because the extended absence may mean that something in his personal life has taken a turn for the worse (health, family, etc). I will send him a link to this thread.
Where exactly are you located Viktor. If the knife was shipped, it could very well have been intercepted by your customs office. Again, hard to say.

If he shipped it when he said he would (within two weeks) i would have been told by the costoms by now if they wanted more Money from me, i live in Sweden.

Also i paid extra to get it with a tracking number and i never got that so no, i dont Think the post service / customs is to blame for this one.
 
Understood, but we never know unless we ask (especially when important details are missing). I sent him a PM, let's see if he responds in a few days.
 
I'm not sure if it's the knifemaker we talk about here but Harlen and i have been in contact as i did a review for his blade, awaiting his feedback.
Once in a blue moon he will get back to me. He's switching between machine times and deployment (he's in some military training as he mentioned), not as much as Tracker Dan but you get the gist.

Give him some time. He's an honest guy.

Sorry for not getting back to you for so long. I got caught up in military training. I have just finished installing a new mill and have some high temp salt kilns on the way. Here are some pictures of the new mill.

I just started making knives again and will get that one model out to you soon.

Great to talk to you again you again. Sorry about not responding to you sooner. Yes I can view PDF format.

With the new equipment I have made a lot of small improvements that I think addresses the issues you mentioned.

I look forward to reading what you have written and ill try to get you an elmax knife in the mail this week.
