The NMFBM has been lovingly washed (took some soft scrub and elbow grease to get some of the greening stains out) and resheathed in David Brown's open spine sheath.
To Elen: According to David Brown, the Arctic White NMFBMs from the VetDayGanzaa are a hair thicker.
Update! The Stihl chainsaw is still in the shop, the two trunks of that tree / brush are still laying in my backyard, the bottom edge of my right palm is finally bruise and pain free....
Chop, chop! We have INFI. We don't need no stinkin' chain saws. For the record, I'm putting off buying an $85 hedge trimmer at Wal Mart so I can continue to use my AK. It's "cheaper" and better exercise
Still don't know if my chopping qualifies for that other thread... but I did take a bunch of pictures today as I finished chopping up the bush/tree and took some pics of the progress, along with proof of the NMFBM being used (and dirtied up), as well of some pics of her nice and clean.
Furthermore, I'm still in love with the open spine sheath that David Brown made for me (it should show in the pics that follow... which are taking an extremely long time for photobucket to upload...)
PS. Just finished working on the photobucket.com images - titling, describing, tagging the images, etc. (David Brown, I'm sorry if you got spammed by photobucket when I tagged my images... If you want copies (and rights to use) of the originals, let me know, I'll email them to you!) Will post another post with the actual images.
These are the final images I took of the chop session...
I've already gotten started and removed one portion of the tree/bush left...
Chopping in progress - I cut the other side a hair too long and ended up having to cut it shorter to fit in the bed of the truck - so this cut is further from the V of the trunk than the first one.
Almost through!
All of it in the back of the truck.
Messy Busse!
Cleaned Busse (Soft-scrub and elbow grease!)
Busse and David Brown's Open Spine sheath (awesome, awesome sheath!)
Prepped for storage (or for the next chopping session, though my right hand (pinky), my shoulders, my back, etc. need to recover first...)
