Never got payment from D. Wade for second trade. Posting/registered name is wadeblade -

David - if you are out there, i have sent you 3 follow-on emails over the last month and have not heard back from you. Please return my knives or send my money.

I'll edit the thread title.

wadeblade's last post was Dec. 26th. A post on Dec. 22nd indicates he had changed jobs and cities about a month previous.

Have you tried any other way to get in touch with him?
 
I have just tried his email address. I figured that he if he was going to respond that would be the best way to reach him - plus it was only contact for him that i had.

The knife he was purchasing was not very much money; the second was a no-charge gift for his son.

At this time, i am not overly concerned about my loss - although very disappointed to have been taken advantage of. I am more concerned about anyone else that may lose out because of future dealings.

You should certainly try a PM but that's not going to work either if he doesn't log on and can no longer get email at his old address. No phone number? How about snailmail?
 
Well all - it looks like i have been ripped off by one of the members.

Not a large amount of money at all but just the principal of trusting one of our own and then getting done dry.

Good lesson to reinforce getting the dollars up front unless you know the person well.

No, it's time to send snailmail to his last known address. So far the only attempts to contact him have been posting on a website he no longer visits and sending email to an address that he probably hasn't had access to since he moved.
 
Then snail mail it is Rick, even if forwarding time has run out, they usually will return the mail to you with his new address. Good Luck Rick,

OK folks i will try that. Will post later and let you know if that comes back as undelivered, no response or problem finally resolved. Only wasting a few more pennies on this.

Obvious irritation Cougar is this guy clearly knows he didnt pay and none of us should EVER have to chase someone down for their money.

Be warned if you are dealing with this fellow and proceed with caution - which i did not do!!

If no luck,his name and old address get posted.

1200S - I really hate you had that happen to you. A good trade can be such a good experience, and I'm sorry you missed out on that. I am glad it was not a large sum of money, but it sux no matter how small the sum.
