Yep, that didn't take long...
So, if you are shopping for a BG AK-47, please remember that if the PRICE seems too good to be TRUE...it usually is.
Especially if it's $74.00 Or Best Offer.

EDITTED to add: It is entirely possible that the images shown on these Chinese copy listings are of an actual BG AK-47, so you can be sure of a bait & switch con in progress, and instead of scoring a diamond in the rough, you will receive a horse apple and plenty of regret with no recourse.

It looks like they're using pix of a REAL BG-AK to lure people. :mad:
 
That's why I mentioned this one's price. Didn't want to confuse anyone with the pix the seller is using. Who knows what POS you'd actually receive...but I guarantee it won't be the one in the pix!
 
This is why I have only purchased from Busse directly. I may also someday purchase from the exchange, haven't yet, but I likely would not worry too much from reputable seller's.
 
Wow that is VERY deceptive...

At the bottom the ad states:

"Country//Region of Manufacture: United States"

But under shipping the same ad states:

"Item location: &#24191;&#24030;&#24066;, &#24191;&#19996;&#30465;, China"

Just reported it.
I thought Ebay had rules against this type of thing... :thumbdn: :thumbdn: :thumbdn: :mad:

I'd bet good money and my best Busse that this seller has a real one to show any government agency who questioned it. "See? I'm just trying to sell this one. Right here. From Busse."
Meanwhile, out back... A locked shed full of fakes. :grumpy:

As a rule I mostly try to buy Busse's from Busse.... otherwise you have to deal with the likes of LK on the bay....Heaven forbid! Plus you know what your getting!

Someone sold one using the same pics for $570 a couple of days ago. That one says it was in Massachusets. I'm curious about the brown cardboard sleeve too. I've only seen white sleeves from Busse. There is another one for sale right now with a brown sleeve.
 
I recently got a rucki direct from swamp rat that had a brown sleeve
 
All three of my CS knives delivered recently were brown sleeves. Basically, I'd just avoid anything from outside the US.
 
I'm pretty sure my BG AK came in a brown sleeve, and I'm 100% sure my BG HR, BATAC, and AMSs (delivered this week) came dressed in brown.

Pretty sure they've switched to brown sleeves- I've been getting all brown lately.

Possible that the MA person was legit, and the China person took their photos. I had someone do that to me once, posted a TG on ebay and the next day someone had stolen my pictures and used it for their own listing (and ebay didn't do anything about it)
 
The thought of a new AK showing up from a Chinese scammer in some mystery steel just made me throw up in my mouth just now.


Then I went to look at Ebay, and literally got physically I'll seeing all of Tun-Chun's page, after page, after page, after page of gouge-a-licious-rediculous-prices and I wished I owned a hog farm, and a drop shipping business.

I can't rink of a person I'd rather send 47 tons of pig crap to, in the summer, after feeding the pigs a steady diet of tacos, blur cheese, cheap whiskey, and botcholism.
