<<<WARNING>>> PSA... Chinese copies of the BG AK-47 are hitting the 'Bay...

I received 1 white sleeve (1st one), then all tan sleeves. So I think tan is in ;)

The last few blades I've received from Busseland have all come with the new fangled tan cardboard.

For $74 it's almost worth just to see what you get.
If only the buyer was a member here.

Someone needs to buy one, ship it to David Brown, and then have him post a video in which (using one hand) he uses a real AK to chop the fake one in half. :D
I'll donate $5 to this cause.

I was thinking the same thing

I am under impression that paypal will refund that fake ak47 under their buyer protection program.
Maybe someone could enlighten me in this case?
Soon we could find cheaters put ads with real picture and fair price that will make it much more difficult for honest buyers to discern real things from knock offs.

Everything I've gotten so far has been in white sleeves, with the standard "Sharpened by..." and the red/orange inspection tag. Haven't gotten one directly from Busse, though, in about 2 months.

This weeks arrivals, it seems that brown is the new white. They are white on the insides so maybe they are all just being made inside out.

You Down wit Brown :)

Hey, is there the small possibility a legitimately ordered BGAK was intercepted en route to it's owner and being sold cheap to move it quick by the one who acquired it at zero cost? Something to ponder...

I could see this eventuality...unfortunately.

Has anyone ever gotten a Busse that has small like pinhole looking marks in the coating. I just recently acquired a Steel Heart Ergo II with the taker gray coating and it has that type of little holes in the coating on one side so now I'm worried I got ripped of with a Chinese fake. Waiting on a call back from Busse to see if theres any way to tell if its real

If you purchased it from Busse it is REAL-If you purchased it on the Exchange from an established member it is REAL-If you purchased it somewhere else-NOT SURE!!

Good looks Jaxx.

As for only buying direct from the store, that's always great, but I'll just say, knock on wood, that I've never had anything but really positive experiences on the Busse/Swamprat/Scrapyard exchange. As for " the Bay" I doubt I would consider buying anything there unless I could trace the member back here or speak to to them locally.

While I would strongly recommend caution over there, eBay sometimes pops up a truffle... ;)

The thought of a new AK showing up from a Chinese scammer in some mystery steel just made me throw up in my mouth just now.

Then I went to look at Ebay, and literally got physically I'll seeing all of Tun-Chun's page, after page, after page, after page of gouge-a-licious-rediculous-prices and I wished I owned a hog farm, and a drop shipping business.

I can't rink of a person I'd rather send 47 tons of pig crap to, in the summer, after feeding the pigs a steady diet of tacos, blur cheese, cheap whiskey, and botcholism.
I wonder how many WTF's he got and whats he gonna charge for them.:barf:
