That's OK. But we do need to be aware that there are only a few sites like YouTube that are really widely known. Also, if the site is not transparent in its operation, instructions make it much more friendly. Paste a YouTube URL into your browser window, and YouTube will play that video. Megaupload.com is not quite that straightforward.
Let's look at this as a learning experience. Remember to be careful about clicking on unknown sites. Reassurance after the fact is nice, but if the site is infected ... oops! Whose fault is it for falling for a blind link?
