Bad *Warning!* ssmith571 is a fraud

The member ssmith571 mailed me an empty box that was supposed to contain a Spyderco Slyz Bowie. I did a trade where I sent a ZT and another knife in trade. I am wanting other members to know to avoid this member. He is new and I shouldn’t have dealt with him but we texted quite a bit and he seemed genuine. Moderators, please note this. Thank you

This was my mistake as I went against my own practices and traded with someone new. I always want equitable feedback to my own when doing trades. Lesson learned. I just wanted others on this forum to be aware

Makes one glad to be a buyer and not a seller, seems like everyday there is a new scam artist scumbag popping up here. I realize it is probably a tiny fraction of the deals that are made, but it is still seems like a crapshoot sometimes with all the horror stories. Seems also to be limited to higher dollar knives, of which I don't really partake. Trades seems particularly risky.
