WARNING!!! The Speed-Tech Synergy

I received my 2nd. Synergy today, this time I got the pewter tanto with textured thumbstuds. AWESOME knife!!! Well, I've seen the threads about the poor fellows who's wives and daughters have taken' a likin' to their prized Synergy. Well, my girlfriend (Lisa) always likes to see just what it is that I just HAD to have.

...but this time, I kept to myself about it. THEN, right after dinner, she *GASP* asked to see my new Synergy.

Now, I'm no fool, so keeping in mind these "horror" stories, I told her that she couldn't see it because her hands were greasy...so, she washed them, then I told her she couldn't see it because she had all her rings on...so what does she do? SHE ACTUALLY TOOK THEM ALL OFF!!!

So, I reluctantly hand it over, thinkin' she'd hand it back, and say, "Wow, this is nice, you know, for this, I coulda had me that new couch at the funriture store." Well, not this time...oh no...instead she said, "Awesome, I like it. Buy me one...how much are they? I want purple, do they have purple? *WINK WINK* Do they have a webpage? I wanna see, show me." UGGG!!! Well, looks like I'm out $280 more bucks.

She wants a Liberty tanto with textured studs, and a monogramed clip that says, "Lisa." Cool yeah, BUT what if she finds another she likes? Then what?

She tried to make off with mine tonight, but luckily, she said that she'd never take my knife away from me. Awwww...shucks, maybe I should get her one too. At least she's kind enough to let me keep mine, what else could I ask for?

She's not happy with just her Benchmades or Spyderco's anymore, oh no...it's Synergy / Sebenza only for her now.

Just a warning guys, theirs something about these Speed-Techs, that these ladies like. Maybe it's that whole "man in a uniform" thing. I dunno...

My advice...forget about all those stupid face thingies and get her what she wants. If she becomes a knife knut you'll always have someone to talk knives with. Who knows she might get you that knife you've always wanted.

I must tell you guys about the PERFECT wife. Christmas of '92, my wife got me Czech AK-47, 10 30 rnd clips and a case of 7.62 X 39. And if I comment that I like a certain knife, it appears next special occasion. She casts her own lead for her black powder rifle and She has put up with ME for 11 years. And she can cook!!!
