I have seen repeated instances on these forums of people who own hard use folders needing to beat the snot or crap out of their knives. This would imply a usage of these sharp devices in areas they really should never go near. You must stop this usage immediately! Really, people, that's why tissues and toilet paper were invented!

Why does it matter what someone wants to do with what is their property? Just wondering why you would start a thread on what other people do with thier stuff?

I feel that the comedic value of this thread has been lost on you.

I'm confused... .

Edit. Ok no longer confused. . . Had to double take the first post a few times. . .

If people are sticking knives into body cavities then IMO they deserve whatever the consequences may be from doing so...

I think the big thing is that people need to understand the line between folder and fixed blade. A folder will ALWAYS be mechanically weaker than an equivalent fixed blade (no Strider vs paring knife crap) because a fixed blade is a solid chunk of metal and a folder relies of a piece of metal jammed in the way to stop it from chopping your fingers off.

If you need to cut up boxes, open packages, or other general EDC activities then a folder is fine. If you need to chop ANYTHING, go with a fixed blade. End of conversation.

Okay, serious over. Some people just don't get humor, sadly.
