I bought a piece of D2, thin stuff, 1/8th" thick. Its not perfectly flat. What can I do to straighten it? I was wanting to make a knife with about 12 inch OAL from it which is too long for me to grind the curve out of it. What should I do? just use that stock for shorter knives?

Clamp it down (or in a vice) and bend it straight.

ETA: you can also cover an anvil with leather and hit it with a mallet or a hammer with leather over the face.

Most knife stock comes cold rolled and annealed these days and can be easily straightened prior to the heat treating process.

Make sure you do a stress relief cycle after you straighten, before hardening.
