Warranty process question

What has been the experience here on the timeline for warranty issues at Spyderco? Or better put... once your knife gets there what happened next?

1. Were you contacted ever or did the repair/replacement just show up?
2. How long did any of those things take?

Due to the volume, W&R doesn't usually contact you unless there is an issue or a question about what you'd like to have done. Typically, they will process your knife and get it back out to you as quickly as possible.

Currently turn-time in W&R is approximately 2-3 weeks.

If you'd like, you can call them to find out the status of your knife. 800/525-7770 x 255. Charlynn or Christina will take good care of you.

My experience has been:

1. Knife gets there
2. Two weeks later, I get a call
3. Two weeks later, my knife still isn't here...

My knife has been there almost one month, I got a call and Eric said he'd send a replacement, and two weeks later I'm waiting.... I think I'll send an email.
