Warranty Question

I am thinking about making a private purchase of a green Carnivour. The seller says it is used(2 or 3 carries). He says that the blade does have a little play, and it doesn't lock up as well as he liked. Also, I believe he stated he had taken off the Black coating.

What I was wondering is: If I purchase and receive this knife, and I surmise it may not be up to the standard my other knives from you have shown, would I be able to send it back to you guys for inspection and/or repair? Or, am I out the warranty because I made a private sale.

I doubt I'll be disappointed in the knife, but want to make sure there would still be some sort of warranty. The knife is of a good enough price that it may even be worth paying for repairs...

Anyway, just looking for advice.

Oh yeah, if I did need to send it in, how much would it cost for a new blade?? Such as a D2 blade?

Thanks for the help guys.

Blacky,

I see you found a Green Carnivore!

You stated that the Black coating was removed. I seem to remember a Green Carnivore for sale a month or two back, is it the same knife? If you decide not to buy it drop me an E-mail
I might be interested.
