I bought an NIB FRN Native awhile back. Loved the knife, especially the S30v steel. Unfortunately, the pivot pin was a little loose. Rather than send my new toy off to Golden in the mail, I tightened it myself with a vise. And overdid it. Now I can just barely open it one-handed and it has found its way to the bottom of my knife drawer
. My question is, did I void the warranty by tightening the pin myself? Can I still send it in for repairs, or is my little buddy forever to be replaced by other knives? Here's hoping for a happy ending.
