What's up! I recently came across my Gerber ATS 34 Covert. It was once lost, but now found and still cool as always. The blade was a little loose (slight wobble). As it's been outta the EDC rotation, why not send it back to Gerber? Off it went, and received it yesterday. Basically disappointed. The blade now rubs to one side (before it was centered), blade deployment is unreliable, and the blade can cut butter, but not much else.
The good; Gerber did replace the belt clip. I did fire off an email back to Gerber, and received a same day response. They informed they would send me a prepaid UPS Shipment label, and would make things right. I'm willing to give them another go.
Same subject, different company; SOG. Sent them my Twitch 1, told them it had setamental value, if the couldn't fix it, return it. Ugh, received a Twitch 2. Management was very understanding, to make things right they emailed a selection of SOGS and to take my pick, the ZOOM Mini won out.
Hopefully others have had better success dealing with return items. Will Post an update when I receive my Covert back from Gerber.
Regards,
Daniel

That knife could be a real winner if it was executed well. But Gerber doesn't really do that these days.
