FS: Warren Osborn SilverTip Tac One: Serial Number 001 on back of blade. Patent-pending (at least back then) bolster-oriented backlock (Bolster Lock? Top Lock (not the Boker!)?) Great walk-and-talk. Part serrated (hand done) 4.0" blade, 8.75" OAL. Blade closes dead center, no play when open. Purchased 1997. Mint condition- always a safe/display case occupant- never used/carried. Sanded G10 scales, mirror-polished tip- remainder of is bead blasted. Hand shaped pocket clip. Thong hole. Checkered ambi-thumbstuds. Comes with letter from Warren. Very cool knife, but new project is coming up. $850 shipped, reasonable offers considered. Paypal with no fees.
FS: Larry Chew Prototype with his bearing braces opening system with liner lock. Led to his Cujo line, etc. Ultra-smooth opening. Family chop on clip. Sanded G10 scales over blue titanium inner scales/lock. Limping on the liner lock release. Marked "PROTOTYPE" on the back of the blade. Two-tone blade- polished and bead-blasted, 3 3/8" drop point blade approaching a wharncliffe. Purchased circa 1996 at the NY Custom Knife show. Mint condition- never used or carried - safe dweller. Has one almost shiny spot in the bead blast that can only be seen from one angle- it's been there since I bought it. To me, Prototype trumped what could be a minor issue. I've tried to show it in the pics that follow.Rubber insert in thumb stud. Neat knife, but tastes have changed over the years and with another toy project coming due, it needs a new home. $650 shipped, reasonable offers considered. Paypal with no fees.
Pictures to follow.
Email with any questions. Thanks!
